Philip G4GHZ: Codename PK - The Museum of Global Communications, Porthcurno, Cornwall

Philip recently paid a visit to this Museum, and with the aid of photos taken on that visit, will take us through the displays and exhibits, from the discovery of electricity and Morse code to fibre optics and advanced technology of today.

The museum of original telegraph equipment and cable laying is in the building of the first telegraph station serving undersea cables. It also includes a replica Y-station including original intercept receivers.

That will be followed by @Brian G3YKB providing an overview of the global radio telescope Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project.
