RS Harrow “Practical Skills” Clinic Sunday 19th January 2025

On Sunday January 19th 2025, Peter G3YXZ and Terry G4UEM will be holding a drop-in Practical Skills Clinic at the RSH club house. The event is primarily aimed at recent or new licence holders although everyone is welcome. Please indicate your intention to attend by 12th January by email to tfbaldwin@btinternet.com or or peter.marcham@btinternet.com.

This event is being run to enable members to enhance their skills in areas where they will benefit from some one-to-one training.

We are willing to help members with operating on the HF and VHF/UHF bands using the club’s equipment, for example calling CQ, breaking a pile-up or operating a pile-up.

By prior arrangement we will also be willing to cover aspects of the practical talks that were omitted from the Foundation and Intermediate exams, for example checking SWR or soldering connectors onto coax cable.
