Seasonal Social

Do come and join us on Sunday 21st December from 15.00h for the last meeting of the year, which will be a social event at the Shack. We will have seasonal refreshments and warm spiced fruit juice. Come and mingle, chat, use the radio – bring friends and family.

Please let Linda know if you intend to come. We hope to see you there!

As we have done for several years previously, we ask that if you wish to make a contribution to the event, you bring something which we can deliver to a local Foodbank. Suitable items are:

Packet mashed potato; porridge / Long Life fruit juice, Long Life semi skimmed milk, Long Life whole milk / hot chocolate, coffee (small, 100g). Savoury biscuits, cracker biscuits, snack size crisps, chocolate treats.

Tinned: macaroni cheese; spaghetti Bolognese; ravioli; beef meals; lamb meals; chicken meals; corned beef; meatballs; meat pies e.g. Fray Bentos; hot dogs; vegetarian & vegan meals; fish (tuna & other fish); carrots, sweetcorn, potatoes, peas, mixed vegetables. Fruit, custard, rice pudding.

Optional: Ketchup, cooking oil (small 1 kg), jam / marmalade; peanut butter; honey, chocolate spread.

Toiletries / cleaning products: Shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste, men's & women's deodorant; toothbrushes (singles, multi); shaving foam / gel; men's & women's razors; men's body wash; soap bars; tissues; nappies (sizes 4,5,6,7). Laundry powder; washing up liquid. Carrier bags (Bags for Life)

They do NOT need: Sweet biscuits; baked beans; tinned vegetable soup; cereal; dry pasta; tinned pulses.
