Field day

Field Day, Sun 07 July, 11.00 - 16.00h
Come and join us in the field at Lincolnsfields. We will have a shelter and refreshments in the field, and the shack will be open for radio activities.
Bring your equipment; an excellent opportunity to try out your portable set-ups. 07 July is RSGB VHF National Field Day, and also the Backpackers contest. Information about both can be found on the RSGB website.
Bring lunch if you like (microwave oven available in shack), or the PlayZone cafe will be open - although it can get busy. A camping chair is useful if you’ve got one, although there will be some in the field. The shack will also be open for use of the club station.
Weather forecast is for around 18 degrees, with possible light showers, so do dress suitably for the conditions. Help would be appreciated around 11.00 a.m. to move items to the field and set up the shelter.
